The trail is owned and maintained by the Catskill Revitalization Corporation, Inc. The CRC was organized for charitable and educational purposes. The goal is to preserve and promote the environmental quality of the corridor and educate the public about the significance of the railroad era in the development of the region. The Catskill Scenic Trail requires maintence and we welcome volunteers to help us walk the trail and do minor repairs.
