Ring in the New Year with an adventure on the Catskill Scenic Trail! Governor Kathy Hochul is inviting everyone to venture into the great outdoors for a wintery adventure on the first day of the year. “I invite all New Yorkers to begin the New Year by experiencing New York’s beautiful landscapes and enjoying the environmental and cultural legacy we call home,” Governor Hochul said. Inspired by the sentiment, we invite everyone to welcome the New Year by spending some time exploring The Catskill Scenic Trail.
The trail is a wonderful adventure for getting outside in every season. The slight grade throughout the trail is nearly imperceptible making it accessible and fun even with inches of snow. Whether by foot, horse, snowshoe or cross-country skis, we hope to see you out there this New Year’s Day 2024!
